Here are a list of FAQ’s put forawrd by memebers and the public.

What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is a practical system of self defence. Unlike martial arts there is no traditional side or sport side of Krav Maga so we keep the focus fully on self protection. What makes Krav Maga different from martial arts and other self defence systems is that we place an emphasis on both technical training and tactical training. Many systems only consider one of these aspects which is far from ideal for real world self defence.

Is it difficult to learn Krav Maga?

Krav Maga techniques are principle-based meaning many techniques have a common DNA, after you learn the basics, more advanced techniques can be learned very quickly and efficiently as they utilise the same key principles. Krav Maga is also a live system, techniques are updated if required, meaning Krav Maga stays as relevant and useful today as it has ever been. Krav techniques take the environment into account, you won’t always be working in a gym on training mats, how will your technique stand up on an icy concrete ground? This also applies to your own physical ability, you don’t need a high level of flexibility, techniques are as simple as possible meaning they work under stress and because they are based on the natural reactions of the body, they can be learned extremely quickly.

Why should I do Krav Maga?
